PWSD No. 3 offers after-hours emergency only service. An emergency is a situation that poses an immediate risk to health, life, property, or environment.
Every home should have a main shut off valve. This valve may be located where the water service line enters the home. If a water leak occurs within the home, this valve can be used to turn off the water flowing into the home. If your home does not have this device, PWSD No. 3 recommends having one installed for emergency situations. If a customer is unable to stop the flow of water and needs assistance, PWSD No. 3 can turn off the water meter. A trip charge may be applied.
Emergency steps
When calling the PWSD No. 3 office at 660-429-2494 during after-hours, a live operator will take your information and notify our on-call technician. Please provide the operator with the following information: Name, Address, Phone Number, Email Address, and a brief description of your situation. A PWSD No. 3 technician will return your call.
